That's a real nice truck, hard to find these days too.

I completely believe the flywheel story. Same thing happened to me with a new NAPA flywheel in a friend's '86 Firebird. Turns out, it was a listing error and the NAPA flywheel was the incorrect balance for the application year.

Dang, my other grandson Brody is looking for an S10. He drove Kooper's and now he has to have one. Only about 400 or so miles from me....I gotta trailer......

With as many of this 82-93 S10s that were made they sure are getting hard to find and when you do they’re mostly beat to crap. It’s wild.

I got a little chuckle out of the 4 spare 2.8L parts engines. I had my old '85 S10 Blazer from 1991 through 1999. I had the same pile of engines in the garage for it and actually got pretty good at swapping one out in a short weekend.

Been looking and found 3 right here in my neighborhood, well county actually. Gonna double check with the Grandson, Brody, and make sure this is what he wants to do. He has also mentioned a K5 Blazer and a 68-72 Nova............S10s are cheaper and a little more plentiful........maybe?
