yes it's green. Typically in qts and gallon jugs. Yes naval jelly is a remover not a converter. Main thing I used it for was removing surface rust off the old Cragars.

I’ve been using this phosphoric acid stuff from Home Depot. It’s only $15 a gallon. Turns rust quick. You still have to follow up with some sort of paint within 48 hours.

we use ospho at work and I bought some for home as well, had decent result with rustolium as well.

I second the Ospho. It will protect bare metal for months out in the elements

This was the best stuff I'd ever seen but you cant find it anymore. You had to use gloves or it would burn your skin which might be why you cant find it anymore lol. Went on clear, converted rust to zinc oxide.

The active ingredient in that was Phosphoric Acid, you can still buy the straight stuff at most hardwares.

I can say that Rust Bullet doesn't work for squat. I renamed it Rust BS. Had good luck with rattle can Extend, will check out the ospho.
