Ok fellas, need help with this, got inspection around the corner. I think as long as I replace the rusted away bolts and clean all the nasty **** out and make some kind of bracket on each side to bolt to the fuggin floor for the body mounts I wont have to worry about replacing the entire section all the way across.

Wow....reminds me of the body mounts brackets under my cab when going through my resto. You could probably get some metal and fab up your own replacements

I know you just want simple and functional. How about cutting out the bad area on each side and just shove a piece of rectangle tubing in there, with a hole for the body bolt?

That seems like the easiest and cheapest way to me if you ever need to order patch panels I've used www.fixmyrust.com before and was happy with the fitment never had to return anything though. There prices are pretty cheap too

Here's a link right to the 73-91 burb

Yah. I will try something like that. Just got to get this thang past inspection. I will figure something out. I got to pull the rear interior all out again and cut the welded heads of the bolts off the fuggin floor under the third row seat. Phil me I am getting tired of this. One day at a time. Feels like a phucking cracked dam I am sticking fingers and toes and bubble gum into to keep going and stop the inevitable flood of disaster. I love her though. :(
