Very cool and amazing condition for a '73! Not to be a downer but another $5-7k to make it 4wd and address the AC.

Nope, only halfway there. Still needs a transfer case, shafts, 4wd tailhousing etc.
Dang, I didn't see that at first, but then again I didn't go that far into the photo lineup. Yep, that brings down the price. It is a sweet van though

Yeah, this is one id have to see in person if i was a buyer. Hard to believe it would have original paint on a van but its possible. Usually, these were stored outside and the paint looks a bit too good for that. Underhood and jambs should be just as nice and they arent.

Hard to judge cars on ebay and I feel like jerk pointing out flaws when i have my own. However, I've been burnt 1-2x online. Ive almost bought a few cars online, loaded up a trailer and driven a few hundred just to come home dissapointed. When I bought my '05 Suburban in '08(?), I scoured the country to find a low-mileage Z71. Took 2 flights and a taxi to get to the dealer and it had a racked windshield and the 4wd light was on. I still bought it thinking the 4wd was a minor issue. Had to spend $1k on transfer case repair that wasn't planned and replace the windshield.

Good catch. I didn't read far enough, or notice the missing front drive shaft in the picture.
Just saw "this van was sold new the way you see it (minus the 4x4 conversion)" .
