Hey guys, my name’s Jeff from Montana and I’m addicted to squares.
I currently have an ‘87 K5 Blazer that is in the shop for a full build, and I just picked up the ‘89 2500 Suburban that I have to bring back from the brink of death.
K5 is getting a new custom crate 350 and a 12-bolt rear, new diffs and axles. Building it as a super tough logging road cruiser. It was mostly stock other than a 3-inch leaf lift to clear the 33x12.5 as pictured.
The Suburban I just picked up. Wanted the 2500 pretty bad. This one was a high miles cali truck, so the body and frame are great, but all the rubber is shot. Already did shocks, brakes, tires, ignition, and just about every sensor and fuel related part on the truck. Next up is door seals. Looks like you guys are all having fun on those barn doors not closing afterwards.
Ill update with some more details and likely start a build thread for each and try to get more progress pics going.
