Had to use 1 inch aluminum valve cover spacers on my BB build for clearance of roller rockers. Also wanted to make sure they would clear the drippers on inside of valve covers.

Apparently, due to reduced friction, they give a bit of an increase in power and reduce heat.
As I am using a roller cam and lifters, seems kind silly to cut the last corner........

I received my Scorpion 1001 roller rockers today.
Amazon had them for just under $200.00
I tried to get Summit to price match per their policy, but the guy said THEIR number was "SCP1001"
And was a newer model, but didn't know what the changes were.
He did give me Scoprion's phone #, so I called them.
I was told that there IS no difference, just that they added the "SCP" as just a part # addition.
When I told her what the Summit guy said, she was not vert supportive.
(The Summit price is $270, and they list the Mfr's part # as 1001.)
So, I ordered from Amazon.
Full factory warranty applies.
So much for Summit's price match guarantee...........
I emailed Summit to that effect, but received NO reply.
