Looking for help interpreting numbers on a Motive Gear gm10.5-373 gearset. I'm wondering what the numbers that are hand added mean?

Ring gear has 0,08"
Pinion has 2,190"

Assuming that the comma is being used as a period, what do these numbers mean? Thanks!

Count the teeth on both. Divide the big by the small number, if you get 3.73, that's your ratio. I bet it comes to 3.73.

Unless you know it's 3.73 and just trying to decipher numbers. Have you called motive gear to ask someone there?

Shim clearances, bearing clearances, etc.. It's not from the manufacturer.

Not from manufacturer...meaning someone has installed them? They were purported to be NOS. Hmmm.

Those, to me, look unused

I would agree, can't see any evidence of wear. Just curious on the numbers. Thanks

The 99 shows they are a matched set. The number on your ring is backlash the other number on pinion is depth.
