Got a ride tech suspension kit. The “street grip” also purchased the upper and lower control arms. And pitman arm idle arm and tie rods. Just posting to see if there are any pointers to help. I’m a novice at all this . No shop around me wants to work on old rigs. At least in a timely or affordable manner so here I am asking the community for help. So thank you forever greatful. I’ve already accomplished more with this rig than I thought was possible with this forum. A grey area I have is with the brakes. The spindles that come in the kit are for heavy duty brakes. Factory on my truck are light duty so I got the 1.25” rotors and calipers to fit. Do I need to get a more powerful brake booster and master? And will a 250ci provide enough vacuum to the booster?
Thanks again!

Be sure to read up on how to remove the spindles safely. The spring can be dangerous.

You're master and booster will work fine provided they were in good shape to start with. You'll have enough vacuum as well.

If you are new to front suspension, you do need to be careful pulling the front spring. I always use a strap or chain on it so it doesn't shoot across the floor.

You will also need to order new wheel bearings and rear seals, they are different in the two rotors.
And an another vote to be careful working around the spring, don't sit while unbolting it, be prepared to move if something happens. A chain looped though it is a great idea to keep it in it's area.
When reassembling, make sure the lower spring tail lines up with the divot in the lower control arm

Thanks guys. I got the springs out with out them firing out across the garage. I just compressed them down with a jack. Don’t know if that was the safest way but it’s done. Now to reassemble . Thanks for the info on the master. It looks like it had been replaced and new ish so happy I don’t need to address that.
