First time poster. Long time auto enthusiast, rebuilder, restorer, tinkerer, whatever you want to call it. New to Squarebodys. The reason I have no posts is because there is a wealth of knowledge available on this forum that can be found by just searching past posts. I have spent many hours looking through past posts gaining insight on what to look for and what to lookout for when deciding what I want in my next project.

Unfortunately I have seen to many rude people respond to legitimate questions on forums with “That’s already been answered a thousand times, you should do a search”.

Just because we haven’t posted doesn’t mean we aren’t actively using the forum to gain knowledge so that someday we can contribute our knowledge to others.

Yes, be cautious, trust, but verify, do your due diligence, use whatever means you can to prevent getting scammed and have a backup plan to recover your money if possible.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your hard earned knowledge so that I can make an informed decision about what I want.
