Hey all, I've recently purchased my long term project truck. It's a '79 K10 Silverado with a long bed.

The bed is pretty well gone, unsalvageable. We're talking rusted gone.

So, I'm looking for places to source a new bed or and old truck box trailer and repairing as much as possible.

Not looking to buy at this time, just checking to see if yall had some input or suggestions. Thanks!

I do not want to flatbed it, at least not long term.

I got bed sides for my 84 from AMD and they are very nice and bolted up like factory. Little pricey though

Welcome from Austria. You should be able to find bed parts on junkyards if you have a lot of time for searching. Or get the AMD parts. They are pricey but you save time and money on prep work on the old parts.
