Removing transmission fluid from the driveway

The clamp on the hose of the transmission cooler came loose and my K10 barfed 5 quarts of transmission fluid onto my driveway yesterday morning.

Recommendations for effective ways to remove this big of a stain? It is about 3 feet wide and 12 feet long.

start with some floor dry

then some cleaning agent and then pressure wash it

Look up your local concrete accessory dealer for options. Best I know of is L & M Citrex but it aint cheap.

super purple cleaner a gallon jug from walmart, let it set for a while, pressure wash it, and if that not good enough muratic acid, nasty stuff.

Kick dirt or use kitty litter on it first to soak up as much as possible first. Let it sit overnight if possible. Then sweep it off. Then pour dawn dish wash soap or simple green on it. Scrub in with a brush. Let sit. Rinse with hot water or a hot water pressure washer.

Good suggestion, just be sure if you use the muratic acid to stand upwind and wet down the area around the stain first with water.

You probably don't own one, but I've found my HF pot sandblaster works really well for oil and rust stains on the driveway. It would take a while to do a large spill but it makes the concrete look like new. Just don't use a sandblaster on a blacktop driveway.
