Remove outer front fender

I have removed all the bolts I can see. There is a middle piece between the outer fender and the inner fender. The hood mounts to this center piece. Do I need to remove that center piece and the hood to remove the outer fender? Any help/answers would be appreciated. Also if you could point me to a site that CLEARLY explains the removal of the outer fenders it would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I would add to the above video is that you don't have to remove the wheelhouse before removing the fender if you don't want to.

That's how it was assembled originally in the factory: fender and fender inner went to vehicle in one piece.
