Spent the last 3 hours sweating my face off trying to remove a stuck wheel. the other 3 came off no problem, rear driver... not so much

can of liquid wrench....check

Beat rim for hours....check

Drove short distance with lugs loose ..... check

Said a few four letter words in front of my daughter .... check

Pryed and beat some more .... check

are there any secrets of tricks... I used a 5 lb sledge, i dont have a bigger one... yet

Search "Wheel Stuck on Drum" in this forum. One of the last threads suggests using oxy torch for fast temp rise of the heated part and lag time heating the part you want to stay cool. Follow with PB blaster while warm but watch out for flame development and have extinguisher handy. Let us know how it turns out.

Good idea, but that was already mentioned by a few as well as the poster. Trying to think outside of the box and give another option.

Take off the diff cover, remove the cross pin bolt and cross pin. Push in on the axle and pull the retaining clip. Now slide out the axle take the axle with wheel and tire to the machine shop and have the axle pressed out. Problem solved. @Camar068 is that far enough out of the box?
