edit: looked at your page 1 posts, the difference in drive and coast pattern sometimes can't be corrected but if you can get it closer to the same you'll have less noise on deceleration. Adding pinion shim will make your current backlash tighter, or too tight. Before changing the pinion shim try moving 0.005 from the left to the right, basically opening up your backlash a little. 0.004-0.012 is acceptable for new gears. It may help with the difference between your drive/coast patterns, since currently they look pretty deep in the root of the ring gear.
