Welcome, I miss my 74 gmc k20 second square body I owned back in 81-82

Yeah, what caused you to get rid of it?
This is my first truck and i didnt want anything but a square to take that title! I am never selling this rig once its done. Getting painted the original shade Catalina Blue, just like this. It was a solid color originally though but i like the look of the frost white on as a 3 bar.

Its not a stepside though, its a wooden bed floored fleetside body. Most poeple havent even heard of it before. I didnt either untill i did some poking around online.

Thanks!I found the floor i would need to buy but there are some special sheet metal parts you cant find anywhere, like the bed sills and some sheet metal flanges that go around the edge of the wood and mate them to the steel tubs and bedsides.

You might have to fab up some stuff to perfectly recreate the wood floor. Maybe there are kits for other trucks, or older ones that would have the fender well sills and flanges you could slightly modify to work.

I found a site that sells the wooden floor kit that includes the wood and sheet metal trim but yes i think that will be my only option unless someone on this site has one they are willing to part with.
