Rag joint replacement

I don't have the option to replace the steering shaft with one from a jeep Cherokee, I'd be happy with just the rag joint replacement, at my part time job at Oreilys we have Dorman replacement pads. Ive never changed these so is it really easy or do I just deal with loose steering? Lol

It's not too hard to do at all.

It's an easy fix. Luckily we don't have to worry about deploying airbags. Last time I replaced mine, i marked the connection before taking it apart so my steering wheel was still aligned straight when centered.

Why don't you have the option of a Jeep shaft? Guys are selling them all over the 'net, no need for you to go JY hunting. I have seen them going for $40-$70 shipped. I got one for my SS a couple of years ago for $40.

I'm not entirely sure it'll swap into my column, my column is from an s10 and I'm not sure if it's the same as a fullsize, plus no torch or benzo torch, and no local junkyards that have a jeep shaft. Lol

S10 is the same unless the column is from newer than 1994.

there is a jeep swap for the s10 for the same reason, if I remember correctly it uses one from a 90-96 Cherokee.
