Yep, that's why they were known as quadra-bogs. The secondary air valve is easy to adjust, you just need an allen wrench and a small screwdriver. I have q-jets in 2 of my cars and they run great.
The PV's sometimes get stuck. If you have it open, the PV can be polished using scotch-brite and cleaned. Also there are different springs for the PV, having the correct one is critical.
The fuel with alcohol is hard on the accelerator pump. AP's that have a compatible seal are available.
