Took it out yesterday just for a short trip. Now I am having a problem passing emissions, some systems aren't ready so I need to do a drive cycle but doing on where they put stop lights on freeways is hard. Hopefully next week I can start dailying it and semi-retire the van.

Finally got a cooler for the console, a good dash and the optional cargo net system.

At the junkyard, I found the coolest dealer emblem I have ever seen and that is going on my van.

That's a lot if nets!

And yeah, that's got to be one of the coolest dealer emblems ever made.

It's getting there. Installed the new dash, found a nice hood and restored the cladding. Plus I got new tires and have 4 matching wheels and tires now.

That's one heck of an improvement. Did you paint the new hood or did you manage to find one the same color?

Thanks guys!

I found one, it wasn't easy to get to and it has some dents but I got it. It was on a car that was already crushed but other than the minor dents, it's perfect.

Didn't realize it's been a year since I updated this. Little Aztek has come a long way. Windows tinted, tent added, finding all kinds of the little knick-knacks you could get for a 'tek.

Still looking for:

  • tent with awning
  • factory seat covers (I really want these)
  • trailer wiring harness
  • air hose (though I took the one from the van since the air compressor in it quit a few years ago)
  • backpacks
  • Mattress
  • Rubber floor mats -gray
  • Factory gray Aztek front floor mat - passenger side
  • Cupholder ashtray
  • R/C Azteks
  • Inside bike rack(s)
  • Roof rack (locking bar type)
  • Roof bike rack(s)
  • Trailer hitch
  • Wind/rain deflectors for all 4 windows
  • Bug deflector
  • Cargo floor liner

It will be a fully-optioned ride once you're finished with it. That tent is cool!
