There you go. As a fabricator myself I can see how things take time and when the end user gets it they can't see it. Quality in quality out. And it's cool of them to do the add on stuff at no extra cost but on the other hand it can go the other way too where the extra hour wasn't needed they were just trying to gouge you but hopefully not. Just look it over real good before paying for it. It's easier to get them to do rework before they have your money.
Exactly... I always wonder had I not asked they would have been ready not to do the extra welding... Like last week equifax my bank card was hacked for like five uber rides in SF, and the loss peiple said ill send a replacement card in 7-10 days, im like "7-10 DAYS!!!?!!", hes like I can 2 day mail it... Same stuff, if I wouldnt have asked it wouldnt have happened... Lifes a trip like that, you dont wanna be that guy, but kinda have to be nowadays....
And this thing has grown in me too... When I first drove it after all the mods, even rubbing, it felt like .... I coulda been driving a copo camaro or ligenfelter vette or just turbo t or any rare car you feel like a bigshot cool guy in and im in a under $5k car feelin like im driving a dupont registry ... Lol
I eyeball sammies too, sometimes smog can be the hold up out here with old asian carbs and hard to find parts. They have like harley Davidson carb conversion but not smog legal. Some put in 1.6 sidekick engines, even 2.3 suzuki aerio... Some 4.3 chevy... I dont know if with my size and their size id shofter would be digging in my knee, but would be curious to try and fit... They even have these 1972ish suzuki jeep think lj even smaller but would be cool to mod out. I see trackers/ vitaras/xl7, like this build with v6 for 2000-2500$ all the time.. I guess timing chains are an issue to watch for on the v6.
