power window question

will a 4 button power window switch work on a two door truck system. My 82 gmc k1500 has a suburban door panels. Right now the switch is just hanging out of the door panel and I would like to fix it the right way. If it will work I can just buy the 4 button switch if not I ll have to change door panels and try to match up the rhino lining and all that

I doubt it. You have a four button switch with two button wiring. They look nothing alike to press on the back of the switch.

Here are some wire diagrams to compare. I would think if you could re-pin the 2 door wiring to the 4 door plug it could be done.
