My passengers side window motor is in the end stages of a slow death. My replacing all the window rubber has only hastened its demise. I would like to further simplify the wiring in my truck by swapping to roll-up windows. I know that replacing the window motor isn't terribly difficult (just expensive). I would also have to replace my door panels, which are trashed anyway. Can the switch be made, by just changing hardware? Or is there a difference in the door shells? Anything else I'm forgetting? Window cranks, gearboxes, door panels, and that should be it right?
