Ah, man. Come on. You can do better than that. That was weak

I'm sorry, you're right. It must have taken them a while to explain it to you, not just read it.

Did your daddy beat you? Told you you'd never amount to anything, and never praised you? So now you gotta go around on an internet forum with Cash flipping the bird, as though you're some tough guy yourself, and try to pile on others for what you see as infractions for asking questions. Does that make you feel better? Poor little guy...

There’s actually a story behind that avatar but it’s probably too much for you to comprehend during a hissy fit.

Lol, he was talking to you. You really do have a problem with reading comprehension, don't you?
Who cares who he was directing it at. It suits you [emoji1787]

You little minds are the ones having "hissy fits" in here, coming down on this poor guy, piling on, and then gossiping like little girls about people in other threads. This has actually ended up being hilarious as **** watching you idiots

Lol, now who's swinging wildly, Mr.HEI?.

All you seem to have for retorts, are versions, of "I know you are, but what am I? " and name calling.

Come to think of it, we had a porter at a dealership I used to work at. His name was AJ too. Pretty sure he had the same millennial learning disability you appear to have.

You're explaining yourself, little man. Are you sure you're not a Democrat?

Just kind of throwing this out there, but what makes you feel sorry for “this poor guy”? He brought this **** on himself. I used to be more helpful in forums and did tech write ups and all kinds of things. I finally got tired of attitudes like the OP’s where I was treated like hired help. None of us are getting paid, yet we get spoken down to and are giving our time to help. Now, I simply do not share my experience as much because of that kind of stuff.

On a side note, I had a similar opinion of you, UNTIL I saw you offering to help others. Now, despite our differences, I would be at least willing to help you if I had knowledge to offer to help.

First of all, the OP kinda brought this on themselves.

Yes, this thread has gone off the deep end. Yes, some people think it's funny. Yes, not everyone thinks it's fair. That's the facts of life, not everyone agrees about everything and not everyone has the same tolerance for ignorance, laziness, etc. Or whatever the case may be. Its probably time to settle things down now.

Oh, and there was no 'gossip'. It was simply a recollection of similar events that have taken place. This tends to happen around once a year for some reason.

Because it seemed like the guy let it go and wanted to just move on, but then you have all these guys piling on well after the fact and not allowing things to move forward.

I don't think the guy let it go and wanted to move on. I think he got the answer he was looking for and didn't care enough to confirm what his actual question was. His apology for his rude actions was halfass, at best.

Guys let's remember why we're here. We like old ****, tinkering with old ****, sharing and gaining some knowledge about old ****, (even some new **** now and then), bullshitting about old **** and everything in between.

Keep in mind the treasure who brought us all together, yet is tearing us apart, was someone who
-smells bad
-can't spell
-doesn't understand grammar
-loves ellipsis
-also loves cap locks
-askes himself questions months later seemingly out of nowhere
-tells that nosey @bucket to mind his own business (a personal favorite)
-just flat out leaves us wondering if there is a poor old 1982 chevy out there in pieces somewhere on the eastern seaboard....ellipsis.

Honestly, the behavior you're describing, probably explains the majority of old pickup truck owners out there. It might not be internet polite, but it's definitely like guys I've run in to at truck shows, junk yards, out in the back country, you name it.

Breathless finger pointing and piling on isn't gonna change it...

I nominate you to follow smelsbad around and protect him from all the brutes out in the big, bad world. While you’re at it teach him how to spell and form a coherent thought because that will be the greatest gift of all. Give a man a fish...right?

We all need to remember that millennials brains aren't fully formed yet. Maturity comes with age. Give it time.
