It’s confusing but I think he wants power breaks for superior stopping power. On a side note, I think that guy must have gotten participation trophies or something and I think cleaning up this thread teaches him nothing about the importance of clear, concise communication.

Just wow! Just found this! There are so many WTF’s to this thread! Maybe some courtesy on the OP’s part, not telling mods to stay out of it, and asking understandable questions would have kept this on track.

Oh, to bring it full circle, I have done power brake conversions. I do have info to offer.....but choose not to. Not to be a dick, but I like to help when it appreciated, not expected! The info is out there, searching should not take toooooo long.

To “power” brakes don’t you just add a positive and a ground to either side of the master cylinder mounting bolts? direct from the battery without any fuses or other forms of protection? Using 22 GA wire?

Or you can use shortened battery cables and route them over to that master cylinder...D.C. direct current. Lol

My biggest annoyance these days... people are spoon fed info. Kids are on their phones ALL day but they won’t use them to look for facts or truth. They’ll hear one version of something and believe it. Rather than go “ huh I wonder if that’s true?” and research it. Instead they get offended and spread the same Bs.

I'm so sorry guys. I couldn't bring myself to even open up a thread labeled "Power Breaks" that was posted in the "Brakes" subforum of the "Suspension, Steering and Brakes" forum.
I just knew it was gonna be a trainwreck before it even started.
When I saw the title was changed to the proper "Brakes", I did open it and about ended up pissing myself I was laughing so hard.

Ha! Funny you should say that because I have 2-22 year old daughters who don’t like to return texts. It’s driving me nuts. I have to pick a fire truck up this afternoon from a station where one of them works. I hope she’s working so I can give her **** about not answering me yesterday.
