Okay, so my problems have been escalating with this car. I still had some ECM function, but today my warning lights/gauges/TCC solenoid/VSS fuse blew, and my ECM/Ignition Fuse Blew, and it left me limping back to where I'm staying and barely making it at that. I found the one pinout and wiring diagram on the internet for my car, and I was wondering if any of you guys that were better at this could see where I should look. I'm starting to suspect possibly the VSS circuit or the TCC Solenoid Circuit since that fuse blew, but a bunch of stuff is tied into those fuses. Can I get a dedicated continuity tester or ohmmeter to probe the ECM pins to see if there's a break. If that is possible, would I just ground the black probe and apply the red one to each pin? I am overstaying my welcome where I'm at, and I need to get home ASAP. Any help or advice would be immensely appreciated more than you could know. Thanks.

simple check would be to get a multimeter and look for a short to ground on each circuit. There are a bunch of solenoids in the circuit and they will show some resistance if ecm ground the other side. Another approach is to unplug each one at a time until it stops blowing the fuse.

Thanks. Spark plug wire melted, caught on fire, and proceeded to short out on the engine. It actually melted the number four spark plug pin on the dist. cap. Fixed it, and I'm back in business for the most part. At least enough to get home alright.
