Pinion Angle

Anyone know the stock pinion angle on a K10 swb? I could see the spring perches had been replaced on the 14 bolt we picked up. Leveled the axle on jack stands and checked the angle. Seemed very steep to me. We removed spring perches cause they were roached out, and are going to use this as the opportunity to set a pinion angle that works best for this set up. Will be running 6” lift. Any suggestions on a pinion angle or is it better to mock up with TC in place? Frame is completely disassembled and was hoping to weld on new perches to get axles painted.

Driveshaft U-joint angles should match. This video shows why. So you need to wait until your truck is fully assembled and loaded to set the correct pinion angle.
