Awesome! My dad taught me how to drive in a '77 shorty, lol. Only thing you might find you want is a 4l60e for better fuel milage. My last van was a '96 express Gladiator w/ 305 auto, loved that van, whole family liked it too. I normally got 18 mpg as long as I drove decent and wasn't loaded to the top. Looks like you will need this link for the rust.

I got her home today! I am very pleased with the shape of this van. Got a little rust but not too bad. The rest of the paint looks pretty good. Lots of small blemishes, but good from a distance. Inside is real clean and comfy. It runs and sounds awesome and it feels like a cadilac going down the road compared to my truck. Nice well maintained, original van. It came with all kinds of maitenence reciepts and even original owners manual and 1978 van advertisement. My phone was dead when i got home and i was busy looking her over and getting to know her, but i promise i will get some good pictures tomorro.
