I was building my kids a school bus shelter many years ago. I mixed linseed oil based stain with linseed oil and painted this concoction on. I threw my rags in the trash can in the barn and went to house. Later went out to barn to find trash can on fire. Wow was that a close call. It's said that Reggie Jackson's car collection burnt up due to linseed oil soaked rags. Boiled linseed is great stuff but use caution.

Seriously if I used a rag with the stuff I would probably either soak the rag in water and leave it or just burn it right there when done.

A very strange concept I'm tryng to get my head around...

Does look unique as hell and really give the "old truck" look to it. always thought you throw clearcoat on it, i've seen such a thing in person at a show, but GETTING it there is another thing truly
