Bought the upgraded thick header gaskets and stag 8 lockers, worked well for an hour or so then the dreaded tick, tick, tick. Any ideas? Re-torque or smaller gaskets?

Header gaskets need to be heat cycled and re-tightened. Once they start leaking exhaust can burn the gasket up. Might be too late but I have had good luck using high temp silicone. Small bead 3/16" let it set for 20-30 minutes before installation. If the header flange is thin or bent a new set of headers is in your future.

They also need to be sized correctly to mate up with the exhaust ports AND the primary tubes.

Gasket type is important too. The multi layer aluminum gaskets kick ass, as well as Remflex gaskets.

Thanks, i only ran it about 3 mins. In a storage unit...gets bad in there quick. I will take off the stage 8's AGAIN! And re-tighten.

Imho, the Stage 8 bolts are WAY more trouble than they are worth.
