I just know it works darn good and is said to never chips off and will prevent rust from ever coming back and if rust is already present will stop it immediately!

You mean I dont need to sandblast it and just use it to paint over the surface rust thats there?

The instructions on the can say that you can do that and it'll be fine. What I did with my frame is just knock off the rust with my sanding disc on my grinder to knock off the bigger stuff and "most" of the rust (also to make it smoother when painted) and then coated it. It came out great and, according to the company, will stop rust in it's tracks. So far no more rust has come back on my frame or under body and I've never heard of anyone else having issues with rust reappearing for them either. It spreads really easily too and dries smooth. You can use it within a gun to spray it but I'm not sure what size you'd use. I just used a brush but buy several of the cheapest brushes you can find cuz once you use a brush there's no cleaning it up and reusing it. Do NOT use a good paint brush for this

Ok, Maybe I'll do that then buy a palm sander thats small enough to go the frame rails and knock some of the rust off. Those black diamond sandblasting bags are like 7.99 a bag for fine grit. I'll use emory cloth to knock some the rust off. Maybe I'll brush it on too.

You don't have an angle grinder? It'll go much faster and easier with one of those and a sanding disk if it's available to you somehow.

No angle grinder unless I get one of those cheap Kawaski ones from tractor supply.

Just smack the frame with a sledge hammer here and there and blow it off with compressed air, fark that sanding crap.

If you're just going to use it for this job and a few other jobs it'll probably be worth it depending on how much they're asking. I've got a Craftsman one that was pretty reasonably priced and it was well worth it for this and other little tasks for the build up of the 77. If you're building a truck you'll want one anyway so I'd go ahead and get it if it was me cuz you'll want to use it again later on with some cut off wheels and stuff. Just my opinion, though....

I found a 4in-4 1/2in craftsman eviro that has does 10,000 rpm max thats on sale for $24.99. I dont one that has too big of a wheel then I sand in between the frame rails.
