found my SPID sticker, though its different looking than most of the pics I have seen here. I believe my paint code is 90u which is cobalt blue met(allic) 06 according to decoderpro.com. Any suggestions on where to find that paint?

also, the roof needs paint, and my son wants to match the hard top white. I cannot find that paint code. Any ideas what paint would match that?

SPID and color pic. everything I see online for cobalt blue metallic seems to be prety shiny, or at least have quite a lot of flake in it. this paint, albeit being 40 years(ish) old seems pretty flat. Im thinking that is not the right color code.

For 1987 90U = Steel Gray Metallic

Your top was also originally Steel Gray Metallic (code 90K).

thank you. Maybe a replacement top and a repaint then I am guessing, because its definitely blue and white.

the link isnt working for me, Ill see if I can figure out how to get there.

Nice blazer!
If you’re repainting the top, paint code won’t matter so much there.
If you’re wanting to match an unknown color (since the truck appears to have been repainted blue) many places will match off a color chip. Find the best non faded example of the paint. I used an interior piece.
Fwiw I used Tamco paint for the blue truck. A few years ago it was very reasonable priced for top quality paint.
If you hit one of their sales too for stock stuff like primers, clear, white for the lid, etc, makes it very attractive price point for high quality paint.

I don't know why the link is not working; I tried fixing it from both my phone and then my laptop to no avail.

It's from the GM Heritage Center archive. Search for that, then "Vehicle information Kits".

Your truck has definitely been painted, looks like it was probably spray bombed. I think I see gray in the door jamb, just in front of the top. You'll likely never match that blue but for the top, I'd just go to Walmart and grab a few different cans of white. Then do some spray outs on a separate piece of metal and see what matches best
