Hey. I have an '85 Chevy S-10 pickup that has sat outside in the N. Idaho climate for the last 15 years. It's basically become a 'dump runner'.
However, it's become time to sell it, and I know if I can knock down some of the surface oxidation from the paint, I'll get a better price for it.

What's a good product to use? I've heard about the Chemical Guys 'VSS', or is their something else I should be using? Maybe something locally available at one of the local auto supplies? I'll also be buying a polisher for this job, as I'm 75 now, and don't really want to do this by hand.

Is it still the original paint? If not, is it single stage or base/clear? Have any pictures to show the condition of the paint?

It's still the original paint. It appears to be in pretty good shape.

I'll try to get out there and get some photos.
