The lower door hinge. If your willing to take the door off to find out, the lower door hinge never comes off for paint, no need, so I bet under there there would be the original color.
And if you dont want to take the door off, look inside the door. Sometimes theres some over spray in there, also look under the brake booster.

The interior has black door panels and a black seat cover and everything else is silver

He is talking the metal. Like what color is under the seat under the carpet. Black door can just be aftermarket, they prime them black. I'm not talking about door panel or seat cover color here, those are irrelevant to body color, especially since they may not even be original to the truck.
