opinions on tire size for 17" wheels

So, thinking about 17 " wheels for the 87. I was curious what a good size is for a truck that is lowered 2" front and back, would like for it to take up wheel well decently. Don't really care for the rubber band look, I like a little size to the tire. All opinions are welcome, thanks
