Greetings gents,

I'm working on freshening up a set of rally wheels for my 86 K1500 and in my research I found an online source for what looks to be damn near factory replacement rally wheel center cap screws. I figure there may be other looking for them as well so here is the link: https://www.albanycountyfasteners.co...p/6000-012.htm

Also here are a few pics of a new screw compared to a crusty original out of my freebie rally wheels a bud gave me when he was moving. The only notable differences are the new screws don't have as much taper at the end as the factory ones do, instead they have small slots in the thread to accomplish the self tapping.

Hopefully this thread will help somebody out in the future or give you guys a reason to freshen up a set of wheels or at least replace some old rusty screws on your factory wheels.

Onto the pics:

Bag of 100 was less than 20$ to my door and got here in 5 days

Here you can see the slight difference in the taper and slots at the end of the screw:

Those are zinc coated. I believe OEM ones were galvanized/phosphorous coated-but they will do nicely for a driver!

The holes in my, what I believe to be original, K10 center caps seem to be drilled out for a 1/4" bolt not 5/16"? The threaded holes in my rims are 5/16", so I drilled out a cap for a 5/16" clearance hole. But now the bolt flange hits the center hub on the cap and subsequently will not sit flat on the cap. The 5/16" flanged bolts don't seem to fit in these center caps? Has anyone else had this interference problem?
