oil presser gauge wire

I cant find the oil presser gauge wire in my 86 c10 .it has been cut off and I cant find it in the wire harness under the hood . can ant one tell me what color the wire should be ???? thanks

I believe it's dark blue..

on 85+ it is tan color, not sure on older. Dark blue is for oil pressure switch. But if it never came with a gauge, the wire might not be present in the harness.

My diagram shows blue to 86???

found it today it was tan the blue wire is for the chock presser switch.

Good to know, earlier ones are different.
