this? How much is a ****** cork one??? Cant be that much cheaper? Why not just pick up the $7 gasket?

According to your link $4.20 cheaper not worth the savings in my book tho.lol

Lot of rebuild and shift kits come with a cork gasket so people just use em, I put them in a box and use a good one, I got a **** load of corks stashed away, lol..

Or... instead of a wine cork table, you could make a cork gasket table... We make a block table and then make a table top using clear resin and cork gaskets.

I dont think our house decorating show is going to make it on HGTV.

It only took one day this time. The yoke is leaking... Is there something I should know about the slip yoke or is it all the same size? And Im guessing it needs to be pressed from the driveshaft, correct?

Did you seal that hole up at the end of the slip yoke? Post a pic of the leak

As I mentioned before, if you have one spline missing on the shaft you don't need the o-ring and you can plug that hole, the missing spline acts as a vent, no missing spline then you need the hole and the o-ring deal.

I did not seal up the hole. I tried without it. Funny thing is that it only leaks on days above 90 degrees. Its cooled down to highs in the mid 70s and lows in the 40s and stopped leaking.

Less heat less pressure, JB Weld works good..
