NP208 driving me insane

Hey yall new member and first post.

86 K10 with sm465 manual hooked to a brand new NP208. Adjusted the linkage (to 4L hookup) can feel the truck geared down but front wheels aint pullin. Readjusted the linkage (4H engagement) and still feel the truck geared down in both 4H & and 4L but still no front wheel spin/actual pulling. Tried doing a small clutch dump /burnout in 4L & 4H to double check and no spin on the front end.

I think I may need new hubs but I figured I'd turn here for input/advice before dumping $100 on hubs I may not need.

In short.... HELP!!!!! please

By process of elimination with the t-case in 4L or 4H and the hubs locked can you turn the front drive shaft with the fronts off the ground? How about with the fronts on the ground? If you cant turn the drive shaft with the fronts off the ground I would suspect the t-case is engaged and you should look into the hubs being the issue.

I have the same issue! Guy I bought truck from.put a 3 inch body so I imagined it would be linkage but deffinetly want to know what you fond out

By turning front drive shaft wheels turn when locked in havmt tried it when on the ground will check soon

same here lol. my linkage is off. in 2wd its in 4hi. The guy I got mine from had no idea what he was doing. Just gotta remember everything is awesome!
