Sounds like one for a TH400.

They are rare and stupid expensive when you find them. What trans are you using? Looks like you have a 6.0 LS swap, did you put a 4L80 in with that? I just used a 3/4" adapter ring to convert the 4L80 index ring to a TH400 index ring size and then used a 6" long 2wd output shaft in my 4L80 cut down to the same ~4.75" long output as the TH400 it was replacing.

Years ago I found a guy on another site that was selling NOS cases. He had a company that converted new trucks into emergency vehicles (ambulances, Fire Dept., etc.). He got out of the business and was selling off his stock. He had about a dozen NOS cases. I bought a brand new 6 bolt round case for $300. Pricey at the time but I was putting it behind a NV4500. In hindsight, I wish I'd bought every one he had for $300.

A 208 or 241 will hold up just fine with 35's, especially on the street.

I know the chain drives are strong but i plan on using as a tow rig and pull goose neck around the farm so a gear drive would be best for reliability just my opinion

It certainly isn't a bad thing to have a 205, but even for those uses, a 208 or 241 will be just fine. But if you want the 205 just to be safe, I ain't gonna argue. I'd be looking at doing the same thing, lol.
