No starting problem

Still having a no start issue with my truck. I have done the following:
Replaced ignition coil with a berg warner coil
Tested Ignition Control Module at Autozone. Tested good.
Replaced 4 month old cap and rotor.

Still will not start no matter how much carb cleaner I squirt in it.
I can hear the fuel pump run.

Did you recently mess with the dizzy and if so is it pointing to TDC and are all the spark plug wires right. Swap out the little flat coil under the rotor also

This is TBI? It's odd you hear fuel but no start... On TBI without spark there is no fuel given

I haven't touched the Dizzy.
I have recently replaced the water pump though

How to remove the pick up coil?

Maybe hook up a timing light to the wires to see if you're getting spark down there? That's what I do to make sure I did the cap and rotor and coil correctly.

Ill have to go and buy one because I don't have one.

You can check for spark with any plug or a screw driver and a buddy. Just unplug a wire and stick a plug on it. Hold the hex against the manifold and crank. Or insert the tip of a #2 phillips into the wire and hold a 1/16 gap and crank.

Also check all your fuses paying attention to the ones marked ECM.

Further testing indicates the following: 12v-14v to the primary ignition coil as well to the Ignition Control Module, No spark on none of the 6 plugs.

Still trying to figure out the 4 pin connector that plugs in the ignition control module

Then it's a problem in that distributor. Did you check the ignition control module with a meter to see if it's good as far as resistance? I'd change that thing with a new one. Had this happen to my dads truck and that's what fixed it after I replaced everything else.

I took it to Autozone and they hooked it up to a machine. It tested good.

I am thinking about just dropping a new Distributor in it.

I had issues like this with a street fire hei dizzy and ended up doing like you and dropping a new one in. Fixed the issue and never looked back
