Your truck shouldn't have a relay or an electric pump. It should have a mechanical pump on the passenger side of the block, down low front corner. Verify. Then Verify if it has three lines running to it

That’s exactly it. Where is the valve located ?
Did you verify where your fuel pump is!!!!! Your getting way ahead of yourself, trying to find a cure without verifying what you have. P.S. if the needle and seat doesn't leak, The carbureator should still have fuel in it regardless if there's even a fuel running to it,if you have to prime it the fuel bowl is draining somehow, second well can't answer this one because I don't know your year or pump style, third you can prop the throttle open when you shut it down then look down the carbureator throat with a flashlight for puddles of fuel, indicating leaking plug wells

In your fuel pump. If the carb is also empty... then you have a leaky needle and seat in the carb as well.

Generally you should still get fuel into the filter within a few cranks if the fuel line doesn't have any holes in it.

And if you have a 3 port pump the pump check valve becomes irrelevant in this situation because the check valve is before the return line so fuel still bypasses the pump through the return line to drainback. If you have a 3 port pump and the correct fuel filter for a 3 port pump there should be an anti drain back valve in the filter. So you'd have to be missing the filter and have a leaking needle and seat,as well as a 2 port pump for the check valve to be the problem.
