Greetings everyone. Found the site surfing the web, looks like a cool site so I thought I'd join. I have a 84 1500 High Serra Long box two wheel drive. 305 auto. Bought it from my girlfriends brother, he got it from his dad that bought it new in 84. It's been setting under a tree since 92.

I think your right that the tree preserved it. When I first seen it. The bed was half full of leafs, I was afraid to see what the bed looked like after the leafs were removed. To my huge surprise the bed was in almost prefect shape. After I got it back to the shop it took an hour and a half just to was off the layers of crap from the exterior. It still could use another good washing.
