Thanks again for the welcome! Just a little info, purchased this truck out of Iowa in Jan of 2020. Pretty much have done everything between the bumpers except paint. Kinda like the patina on the hood from the owl crap where it was parked in a barn. Truck originally was a us forest service truck. A farmer purchased it and used it around his farm until he retired and sold everything. Good bones and rust free. Had a 6.2 diesel but wasn’t the correct engine as it was a c code engine, had a turbo 400 mated to a single stick 205 transfer case, 410 gears with a locker out back and limited slip up front. All worked great. Put a optimizer 6500 in it with a custom built 700 and 208 transfer case, banks turbo set up and a vintage air ac system. All new suspension and interior upgrades as this was just a custom deluxe. After a year of working on her she’s back on the road. Gets 23 mpg on the highway and will climb a vertical wall if it could get traction. Haha. Don’t know if I will put the flat bed back on it or leave the old beat up bed I got off of my donor truck. Just going to be my mountain get away rig.
