Howdy!
My name is Grey and I hail from Marysville, California (about 30 min North of Sacramento).
My first pickup was a '77 Scottsdale heavy half, step side, 4spd/4x4 in Root Beer brown. My dad purchased it new before I performed a frame of restoration of the truck, at age 16.
Now, I'm back in the game with the truck I've always wanted. It's a '74 Custom Deluxe 4x4, SB, fleetside, 350/350, NP203
sporting orange and white. "Orange Julius Cesar" (not a typo). She's completely solid other than the passenger fender under the battery tray. The oil and grease covering the undercarriage has pretty much protected against any corrosion…JK..but seriously.
I picked her up for $2500 bucks because the owner said she didn't run (but I knew better). I brought it home and bypassed the ignition with a push button and less than ten bucks. Check me out in my new pickup!….then the motor let loose after a couple thousand miles.
Sooo…here I am putting the finishing touches on the new engine I built for it. I plan to go all the way through the truck over time. I hope you guys can participate along the way. I already like the vibe I get here compared to other sites. Thanks!
I apologize for not having more pics.
