Welcome from Central North Carolina. That is a very good example of a survivor truck and it looks great!

Welcome from Oregon!

You can put a 60 series tire on it and that will drop it some.
I looked into dropping mine when I first got it and it was going to be $1500 in parts to get the stuff needed for a 3/4 ton to get lower.
After that, I just decided to put a set of stock height tires on it and go from there.
We have a wide ramp that we can walk up next to the bike that helps...

Welcome!
How heavy are the bikes? Is it an option to remove a leaf or two to drop the rear a little bit? If you do need full load capacity, airbag helper springs could be a way to get a little lower when you want it, and gain full load capacity back when you need it.

Either way, beautiful truck and I'm sure you will enjoy it!

It's the only one in my garage (had to sold the other one) but I do plan to buy some more in the near future

For now I will keep the stock ride height on the truck and invest (or build) in a nicer ramp

Thanks you all for your feedback and kind words

Gear oil was BLACK and even had bit of sludge at the bottom of the case, don't know if it was ever change...

I also ran into an issue :
I don't know for you guys but It doesn't look like a Turbo 400 to me ... more like a Turbo 350

The RPO codes say that it came with a Turbo 400 from the factory :

Don't know what happend to the OG TH400 but the TH350 work fine, I do have to order a new filter and gasket to complet the "full" service but other than that everything went fine,
I like the fact that I don't need to put the truck on jack stands.
I do wonder what kind of others "suprises" I will find on this truck...

My ‘75 K25 also has the M40 transmission option listed, and it has a TH350. GM used the TH350 with the SBC in ‘75, even in the 3/4 ton with the heaviest GVW.

LeBeepBeep...I love it! Welcome from Cochise County, Arizona. Nice truck. Speaking of 16.5s, I was fortunate to find 2 new ones and 2 restored. New tires today. I like the original look.
