Hi, I have a 56 3200 I am redoing. I got a new to me 12bolt truck rear end with a tube stamp of “TPH 0403W2E” can any one decipher this for me. Only thing I am sure of is that E stands for Eaton diff and I think the 2 means second shift. There is a cast # of C250, GM 57 and Nf 3896838. There is also FF stamped on top of housing. I am trying to to determine the year of mfg. Thanks in advance for any help

Thank you for your reply and info. Glad I asked for help. Looks like its a 1970 4 wheel rear end. Now for disc brakes
