yeah i wonder why some trucks have so few vacuum lines while others will have what seems like dozens! Guess it depends what all they're runnin

yore carb has a standard q jet bolt pattern .only way you will know whots under it is to remove it .we had an 86 in recently looks the same as yore set up carb vack lines an all should you need to nremove the throttle bracket thears a bolt in rear of drivers side cylinder head .good luck

OP here, still have to button things up but I've joined the Holley hivemind. Had some initial problems but it runs good now.
Gave the truck a neanderthal vacuum lobotomy at the same time, converter may not lock up but that's a problem for warmer weather.

Cause over the decades most of that stuff has been removed in the idea of simplicity or performance or economy.
