New to this site. Looking for VIN decode info.

Good morning on your side of the world. Finally getting around to working on my stack headlight pick me up truck. Had the thing for over 30 years but just now getting around to doing the work. It is a 1981 Crew cab dually 2wd. Just before I purchased the truck from the widow lady her hubby put a crate GM replacement engine in the truck. They had used the truck for their 5th wheel and spend a few years travelling around the USA. Looking for any and all information and reference sites anyone can point me in the right direction. Not having much luck. Some sites are blocked over here (Dubai) so it is always a try and see if the sites work. VIN is 1GCHC33M4BZ100546 Appreciate any and all info.. It is now lambo orange and black. Tan interior. Thank you.

Does it still have the Regular Production Option (RPO) sticker on the inside of the glove box door? That gives you a good idea of how what was on it when delivered to the dealer.

You can also pay the GM heritage center for a report on your truck. Some folks found it very useful, and others didn’t. YMMV

What specifically are you trying to find out from the VIN? Other than engine type there is no RPO information encoded in the VIN.
