Just picked up this ‘86 C30 last weekend in NoCal.
Under 76K miles.
350 engine, 4-speed manual (w granny low).
Was an AZ stake-bed farm truck originally. Frame has been shortened & notched, spindle-drop in the front.
Pretty clean & almost rust-free truck!
Runs great down the highway, although the 25+ year old tires have flat-spots (…which is SAD because the tread depth is like new!) which makes the ride rough until you get over 50mph.
Will need to address the typical issues (…hydraulic leaks are already appearing, on rear brakes & clutch) that crop up following a long period of not being driven regularly.
AMAZING CONDITION for a 37+ year old vehicle!!
Looking forward to making her 100% roadworthy, & then improving the cosmetics somewhat.
