Picked up a 1981 scotsdale for 2,500
400sbc 400trans 208 trans 10 bolt front 12 rear new 33”bfg tires has trans cooler dual fans none of gauges worked but got them all fixed but speed o cable anyway glad to be here.

Thanks yea I already been offed double what I paid but I really think it would be hard to find another in as good a shape.i been told speed o cable goes in transmission somebody else said transfer case there was not cable on it so got to figure this one out

Welcome nice truck. It goes in the transfer case. Only thing I'd change on that truck would be the wheels.

Why wouldn't you keep it I had a super rusty 76 years ago and regret getting rid of it then a few years ago I got my current previously rusty 87 and have pieces of an 80 k20, 89k5 and an 89 R3500 C&C. lol it's an addiction

Guy bought it for his son but decided to much power for him I talked him down to 25 he was going on mission trip the next week so he need cash
