So I've been a bit busy over the last few months. I bought this one to replace my '89 Chevy plow truck that had corroded so bad that it was about to become a Flintstone vehicle you had to lift up by the bottom of the cab and yabba dabba doo to get it going...found Western 7-1/2' plow on CL that came off a '75 Suburban. Set that up on Big Orange. Then found out that the PO of the truck (an extended family member) had bought new front outer fenders back in the late '90s with the intent of restoring an old rotted out '78 that he still has. Never did that and when I asked him if he still had the fenders he said he did and had them "in the barn somewhere". He found them, I gave him some $ so we would be even. Found that this old and faded Crimson Red paint matched up the best (but not perfect) with Rust Oleum Satin Fire Orange (yup, I rattle canned them...this is a work truck, not a show truck), so I put 4 coats of the color and 3 Matte clear coats on them and installed them over the weekend.
